More like Ray Romano and after seeing a part of Everybody Loves Raymond while my wife channel flipped the other night, I sort of wonder if they re-imagined that show's crude family with this one the parts aren't exactly the same, but the actors picked for Krampus all have a very E. L. Raymond 'feel' to them. We just didn't have a grandfather figure

To be fair he didn't look like Cruise much at the start of the movie.
Only the action parts.

I didn't think so Cruise always has a certain debonair/charisma about his looks, while Adam's character seemed more 'nerdy' to me. The nose eh, maybe. But seemed more nerdy upper-class 'hippie' type, that finally buckles down with the brother-in-laws 'armory from Lucinda' to help defend the family. Which was a neat somewhat personality twist. Loved those rifles with the high-powered lights on the end of them.
