<p dir="auto">No, it's not a serious role in the strictest sense of the term.  He plays a stereotypical gun toting, big truck driving "redneck", and it's played for laughs.<br />
The movie is a horror comedy.<br />

<p dir="auto">I wouldn't say "serious", but not comical in his typical style. He's supposed to be like a gun-toting man's man. Which can sometimes be comical lol. But no his character is not silly or funny really, but he plays the part well!</p>
