I came into this thread thinking he probably wasn't gonna make the show but wow, he managed to squeeze out a little more of his star power after he was cast out of the spotlight, even though he was only in three episodes of the show.

As long as Kevin Sorbo is respectful, I guess that is the most we can hope for. Sadly I have heard how he speaks about atheists and in interviews he is quite unpleasant. I feel bad because it seems like he was a cool guy, but has become overshadowed by hateful rhetoric.
I know I should not equate a character to an actor, but when watching Hercules or Andromeda, I feel sad that the man behind the role would regard me as something wrong. I still wish him all the best though.

Gotta make a buck, it's not like he's getting roles offered every day. Also, he always seems to come across as a rather nice, respectful bloke (interviews, conventions, Facebook). I know he's a republican, but I'm not sure where he stands on the LGB subject.

Is Kevin Sorbo really going to be in Supergirl? I understand he is a very opinionated vocal Christian. I am surprised he would entertain being in a show with gay characters.

but from what i hear potentially in theory it could be daxom's father, one of the cloaked figuresalong with teri hatcher potentially being the mother
or it could be lobo, another villain i read somewhere, that could make sense
interesting enough, sorbo was one of the two finalists of clark/superman on lois and clark before going to dean cain. and a while ago, he was rumoured to be on smallville, as potentially as kara's father
