So, I've got one more episode to go in season 1, but I was wondering if there's a big difference between the two seasons due to the change in networks (not counting cast changes). I'm hoping it gets a little better TBH.

No, very little difference. Cat Grant and Max Lord are gone, but otherwise the show is very much the same. The writing is every bit as sharp and the decreased budget doesn't even show - the special effects still look great.
No worries. It's still one of the best shows on TV
