Jeremiah seemed to be able to get Kara and Mon-el out of Cadmus too easily. I think that after all his time at Cadmus, that he is no longer a "good guy". I think his showing up and helping them get out of Cadmus was all a plan devised by Cadmus. That is the feeling I got from watching that episode. Why wouldn't he have fled when he helped Kara and Mon-el escape, if he was a prisoner there? He looked to be in good physical and mental condition, and basically just walking around the place unescorted, to be a prisoner.
