I don't think they'd drop a War World Easter Egg like that and not have plans to use Mongul. Also, we saw the Black Mercy in season 1 and he's been known to use that.

Agreed. Mongul is one of my very favourite DC bad-guys (I've just finished rereading GLC Ring Quest) - if he does appear they'd better do him justice.

well.. theoretically anyone could.
but with War World(s) being mentioned, Mongul could one day be used on the show.
they better treat him like a serious threat though and make it at least a four episode story.
