He was almost Superman, he hated the character too much to wear the suit. A two hour finale and we got 10 minutes of him cgi'ed in a suit. One of the top 5 worst finales I'd ever seen.

For someone that seems to be a fan of his, you don't seem to have much respect for his preference to not ever play the role of Superman. Since Tom Welling doesn't want to be Superman, should Superman never again appear in any live-action movie or TV show?

He was Superman, in everything but a suit. Unlike most superficial people I don't need to see tom welling, in a head to toe shot to know that he's Superman. And even if tom welling did finally wear the suit, I got a feeling that people would still b!tch about it. The man can't win, no matter what he does.

Yes, he was very grounded. So grounded that Tom Welling doesn't ever want to put on the suit. Would you be happy with cameos from Tom that were ONLY Clark Kent, and NEVER Superman?

Honestly if smallville Spin off the arrow universe, and if Laura vandervoot was playing Supergirl the yes I'd be all for tom welling. However wb/DC/cw fvcked that up, so now nope I don't ever want to see the last great most grounded Clark Kent/Superman, which is tom welling on sillygirl.

Tom Welling has no tie to this show. And he is too old.
He's actually closer to the age that Clark would be in this continuity than Tyler is.
