I knew this Biblical drama series would be great before i even watched it and iv'e started streaming this for the first time on Netflix and i'm not disappointed, i'm not just saying this because i'm a Christian, i actually dislike most Christian movies because they always have cheap production and terrible actors. There are rarely any Biblical TV Series except for "A.D." and "The Bible Series" so i can't judge on how many are good and how many aren't when it comes to that. I usually watch secular movies and TV Shows even as a Christian and as a movie critic, i would love to see more shows like "A.D." but they are rare.
"A.D. The Bible Continues" is a strong and powerful series and has great performances, whether you're a Christian or not i recommend it.

Agreed that most Christian productions are disappointing, and that "A.D." is a pleasant exception.
Meryl Streep is a shape-shifter.
