Some concepts rewlly only make sense for a short run. Examples for me have been "Dexter", "True Detective" & "Hose of Cards" (feel free to disagree).
I am weary to watch S2 cuz after the S1 reveals, it seems the story can only really jump the shark from hear.

When season one was about to start, Esmail revealed in an interview that Mr. Robot had originally been conceived as a movie.
After USA decided to have Esmail write it as a multi season series, the story could be fleshed out and extended. I have no idea where the story is going, since even the cast members aren't given more than they need to know for their scenes.
There is a lot for me to like in both season 1 and season 2, so I plan to watch season 3 as soon as it airs.
