.) but is then abandoned by Ash because
despite his resurrection, pPblo DID die,
and Ash remembers it. So I'd imagine, unless they continue to make him a total idiot, he'll realize that despite his best efforts, all his loved ones, except for the exception of the cast of AoD, will in fact die, and he should fly solo to prevent that. Be an "Alone wolf"
Weird monsters, I'm totally into, just not giant monster or generic creatures.

I would love to see Mia's character make an appearance. I think she was the right amount of badass to acompany Ash cause she has earned it in a way.

Kelly and Pablo weren't so insufferable and bland (respectively) in the first series. I felt that they played off of Ash very well in that, and they brought something to the chemistry of the program, even when he wasn't around. This year I nearly grimace every time one of them is onscreen without Ash.
Attempting to prop Kelly up ruined her. She was funny when she was just as out of her depth as Pablo and along for the right, trying to make a go of it. It gave her actual humility.

They could just pair him with better characters than Kelly and Pablo.
