If you actually watched the show, you'd know that Linda from the movies appeared in the final episode of season 1. Different actress, but she's still white.
The black Linda, aka "Linda B" that we're seeing now is another character. Ash dated her but left her for the original Linda. As someone said before, it's a common name.

Yes, and you know it has to be the same person because of the uncommonness of that name. When I think of names unique to one individual person, Nostradamus comes to mind, followed closely by Linda.
