It was a good production with good performances etc but I can't think of another TV show with more token political correctness in it's characters and themes! It covered almost every -ism and -phobia that the writers could cram in! Too obviously I think, as to detract from it's realism. I have also noticed this trend in modern dramas. If you want to make a drama about racism, do it! If you want to make a drama about homophobia, fine. But this was a kit and caboodle mish mash of those and even more including domestic violence, gangland torture, with the crime drama thrown in too it was just
too
much to make a cohesive believable story.
