<p dir="auto">I'm excited for it. Stranger Things may not be the most profound series, but it's such a comfort watch for me. It captures the feel of a Stephen King novel better than actual adaptations of his books.<br />
It has everything I like: interesting, likable, and/or relatable characters. There are eldritch things and strage happenings in a normal small town. Always loved that juxtaposition in horror and fantasy. Like, ground it in reality,  but get weird with it.<br />
I also love when these stories have subtext that's personal to me. A lot of ST revolves around trauma.<br />
I love the kind of Nightmare on Elm Street 2 Jesse and Freddy thing going on with Will and Vecna. I love that last season took a lot more from the Nightmare series.</p>
