Another homage to King:
I was concerned that Will threw up the little monster snake and spat it down the drain. It brought to mind another Stephen King novel, "The Dreamcatcher". The climax of that movie was to stop an alien from dumping a tiny "sh!t weasel" into a Massachusetts's water supply and infecting the populace. I thought that Will would have crushed it first and then disposed of it. Hmmm..Stranger Things to come.

I thought of Dreamcatcher too.

Dreamcatcher (the book) was horrible and one of King's worst next to atrocities like The Tommyknockers and Insomnia. I don't know why anyone would want to base anything off of that book or movie. If you're looking for inspiration then maybe "It" was where Stranger Things found it.
Overall, the series wasn't bad but was truly style over substance. I was hoping for a lot more when I first heard about the series. What I got wasn't worth a 9.5/10. I gave it a 7/10 but it seems any show which breaks any new ground in the US is automatically a 8.0/10 or higher on IMDb. Same with any movie.

This reminds me of how I couldn't even finish the Dreamcatcher book because it was so bad (even by modern King standards). The movie was a chore, too.

It does seem a bit weird he didnt try to dispose of it.
I mean, we seen in Wills little tiny supply garage that after the monster was there, it left sort of remnants behind that the bad men eventually found interesting, as Modine says.

Yes, Duddits fought the alien and both fought to the death with Duddits protecting Jonsey and Henry. Like El protected the boys in the schoolroom.
