Cliff Martinez is Refn's frequent film composer/collaborator, and he scored both Drive and Only God Forgives. I've never heard that SURVIVE had anything to do with either of those films.

Nicolas Winding Refn usually uses the same musicians or style. SURVIVE created the theme song to Stranger Things and I believe they also helped Nicolas in Only God Forgives and Drive.
My friend was inspired by Stranger Things and created a very cool theme to my indie film. I used it in the trailer. I'm not forcing anyone to watch it, but if it interests you to hear the song, go for it. It's an 80s synth inspiration, especially with Stranger Things Theme.
