If you want new characters and a new story, watch another show, that will be new characters and a different story and everyone is happy then
However, if the show was originally created as an anthology series, then i would agree with you and be on board with that direction, because it is what the writers intended, but from what i can gather, the Duffle brothers always saw this as a multi season show, so in that regard, i am pleased the characters and story is continuing and i am looking forward to season 2

I agree. Too many of these shows get wrecked because of over done story lines, increased plot twist that just confuddles character development and ruins the chances for a satisfying conclusion, albeit one that may leave you guessing, possible.
