<p dir="auto">The scene where Will left the dinner table and went up to the bathroom.<br />
When he stood in front of the mirror and looked at himself.<br />
I got a sort of vibe of "The Shining" or "Phantasm" when they got pulled inside the wall or whatever.<br />
Was this scene even nodding an 80s movie?</p>

<p dir="auto">Wasn't there a scene in Poltergeist where a guy was looking in the mirror of a bathroom and pulls his own face off after eating some steak that turns to maggots?<br />
Not a direct reference <img src="https://filmglance.com/discuss/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f609.png?v=8570fb93240" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--wink" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=";)" alt="😉" /> but the mirror/view of another darker world kinda fits. Probably a bit too dark for a PG 13, although (I've just checked it) and the Plasticine model looks more comedy than horror nowadays ha ha ha <img src="https://filmglance.com/discuss/assets/plugins/nodebb-plugin-emoji/emoji/android/1f604.png?v=8570fb93240" class="not-responsive emoji emoji-android emoji--smile" style="height:23px;width:auto;vertical-align:middle" title=":D" alt="😄" /></p>
