Diddl Mouse celebrates a surprising Comeback

The popular cartoon character Diddl will soon be back in Germany.
Some of the 64 new items are already sold out abroad.

Thomas Goletz from Hamburg plans to bring his cartoon character Diddl back to the German market next year. The creator announced this in response to an inquiry from the German Press Agency.
"In recent years, Diddl fell into a kind of Sleeping Beauty slumber,"
explained Goletz. The characteristic mouse was a popular collectible in Germany in the 1990s and 2000s.
Success in France and Belgium
New Diddl products were available in France and Wallonia in Belgium since the beginning of October. The collection includes 64 different items. The French distribution company Kontiki plans to supply additional European countries next year.
The international sales launch was a success. Some products sold out within a few days.
A Kontiki spokesperson said:
"We didn't expect such a success."
