<p dir="auto">The only comedy is that everyone hates each others songs.  That was about it.  The music wasn't bad enough to be funny or good enough to be like wow, they did that as a parody.  Pretty meh episode.</p>

<p dir="auto">I feel the same way, this season I've found myself watching the episodes thinking "That's clever" but not laughing very much.</p>

<p dir="auto">I think this season has been really hit or miss. It's almost like they're playing it too straight? I don't know if that's just me, but they parody these films almost too well to be funny. If that makes sense.<br />
I still enjoy them because I enjoy both Armisen and Hader as performers and I like the effort they put into them to make them seem legitimate, but before they played it just right enough to be believable, but absurd at the same time making it funnier. This time around it just feels like they're doing a looser imitation of the actual film and its subjects than anything that comedic.<br />
That said, Final Transmission will probably end up being one of my favorites of this season. Perhaps if I had seen more of the documentaries they're parodying it'd be funnier to me, but I didn't have that problem as much last year soI don't know.</p>
