<p dir="auto">Agreed. I first noticed him in Remains of the Day and have followed him closely ever since. He's a great character man and in The Crown he's allowed to shine. Just finished the series and I think particularly first class work from Pip Torrens, Alex Jennings, Victoria Hamilton, Jared Harris &amp; Vanessa Kirby.<br />
The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it.</p>

<p dir="auto">This is the first I've seen Pip Torrens, apart from Versailles where he certainly looks very different, and I really enjoy his work. He's great as Lascelles. Unctuous and condescending at the same time.</p>
