I'm really tired of all this liberal BS in movies. Every white person is not a racist anymore than every black person is a racist. With that being said, liberals tend to be the most obnoxious people ever. You are supposed to accept them, but if you're a conservative your opinions don't matter. If you didn't vote for Obama you're a racist. If you voted for Trump you're a racist. Black filmmakers can play the race card all they want, but does the average movie goer care? Just make a movie everyone can enjoy and leave the political BS out of it.

I agree that it is silly to call this movie racist before you see it. But with that said
First off, why do you assume OP is white? Because he thinks this movie appears to be racist against white people? Are people of color not allowed to express that racism against white people is wrong? Thousands of white people are fanatical in supporting the black lives matter movement, so could it not be the other way around?
Secondly, I have never heard a white person complain about white "villains" in movies. Also, there is a big difference between being a villain and being portrayed as a straight up bigot.
I haven't seen the movie yet, so I can't say whether it's racist or not. Even if it ends up being super racist oh well, it's freedom of speech. But the trailer does kind of make it appear that the underlying message is that white people are bigots. I'm not sure if they made it appear this way to cash in on one of the biggest hot button issues right now, or if the message really is that white people are racist (I'm going to assume the former).
Although I don't personally find it racist, I can't help but think that this film could possibly divide people more than they already are. But it's because they let it happen. That's the problem with people. The left is a bunch of over-sensitive crybabies who think any white person that doesn't agree with them is racist. The right are tired of PC culture and are trying to fight for free speech. So the left makes shows and movies like 'Dear White People' and 'Get Out', which is basically the type of stuff they complain about. The right complains about freedom of speech going downhill, but the first shows and movies that come out that possibly portray them as racists, they complain and call for a boycott. So both sides are literally doing the exact thing they're against. People just need to stop being hypocrites. And they also need to start thinking for themselves and not be a bunch of sheep. But with that said, this man is allowed to have his opinion that this movie is racist, even if it is just speculation. That's the beauty of freedom of speech.
"I'll bet you don't have any issues with a movie if a black character is the villain right? Then if some people of color claims that movie is racist, you'd tell them to just lighten up because it's just a movie right?"
Once again assuming and once again, there is a difference between being a villain and being portrayed as a bigot. I've never seen any movies that have portrayed all black people as bigots and then they complained it was racist. Are there any movies like that? If so please let me know because I'm interested (genuinely).
Lastly it doesn't matter what race you are I think everyone should lighten up about movies and tv shows.

Actually it's usually women, transgender people, and people of color who are the snowflakes. But in the case of this movie, yes a lot of people are whining in the same way that the liberals whine about well, everything.
"Never once complained when every black male character died in the first 30 minutes or when every black male character was either shuffling or buck dancing, or a gangbanger,or a drug dealer or every black female character was a fat mammy, tragic mulatto, or Jezebel."
You may not have complained, but other people definitely have. Also, not every black male character dies in the first 30 minutes of movies anymore. That's old stuff, so it really doesn't apply here.
"If every white guy isn't the paternalistic great white father saving the day, they're whining."
Yeah cause all white people think the exact same way. YOU sir give ME a break.

True dat.???? A lotif butthurt white boys always playing the race card, snowflakes need a safe place.
Never once complained when every black male character died in the first 30 minutes or when every black male character was either shuffling or buck dancing, or a gangbanger,or a drug dealer or every black female character was a fat mammy, tragic mulatto, or Jezebel.
I won't get into maurading Indians, Asian dragon ladies, or karate chopping Asian guys, Mexican banditos, or sultry Spanish women pickpockets with bad English.
If every white guy isn't the paternalistic great white father saving the day, they're whining.

So you have decided the movie is "racist" even though you haven't seen it yet? It's always funny to me when a white person, assuming you're white, claims a movie is "racist" because it paints certain white people as villains.
I'll bet you don't have any issues with a movie if a black character is the villain right? Then if some people of color claims that movie is racist, you'd tell them to just lighten up because it's just a movie right?

If you find liberals so obnoxious, you should celebrate this film, since it's an attack on white liberal hypocrisy.
