I actuallt thought it was good but i feel as though rory devolved and into a slut but still likable. I loved how emily evolved and was able to find a life for herself after richard died and finding piece. Glad lorelai and luke got married

Honestly I was disappointed-

I think Rory should've either ended up with Logan or Jess. I didn't like the idea of her becoming her mother. I thought the whole point was to have Rory aspire to everything her mother couldn't because she got pregnant. I didn't like the implication that Logan was the new Christopher & Jess the new Luke. I wanted more for all the characters.

Rory's characterization was off. She's just okay sleeping with her boyfriend knowing he has a fianc? This is Dean 2.0. Also she had a boyfriend & cheated on him repeatedly because she couldn't bother to break up with him. That's so not Rory.

The musical went on way too long IMO. They could've used that time to talk about characters and build plot. Also was it me, or did the storylines jump all over the place? Lorelei brings up kids, goes to a surrogacy agency & then it's basically dropped. Same thing with Emily in therapy. The show jumps from event to event & wastes time on weird issues. Like Lorelei & Emily sitting in silence felt like filler. Why not spend that time with Jess- like why is he still pining after a decade? Or are they friends, what was with that look?

When Paris freaks over seeing Tristan & says she's still in love with him? Also was she pregnant because again, she mentions she missed her period but then it's oddly dropped?

The Sookie excuses were weird. She has a family but she went on sabbatical for a year to grow vegetables somewhere? I know Melissa was busy but that excuse made no sense- Sookie was co-owner of the inn & had 3 kids.
-Who is it?
-It's Grandpa. And it sounds like he's gotten into the horseradish again.

I have a feeling that the writing of the arc revolved substantially around the actors' real-life availability, their schedules etc.
Anyway, regarding Rory, Jess mentions she's probably hit a rut. That feels realistic to me. She could've lost interest in her achievements, literature etc., but lost it temporarily, she's 32, soon with a baby, which will probably energize her again. I think she will be a fine mom.

Hated Rory's storyline, didn't enjoy anything she decided to do except the book idea. I had very high standards for that character and all I got was a messed adult woman who was ok with being a cheater and that will probably be a single mom because "full circle".
Loved Lorelai and Luke's wedding and Emily's growth.
Would love to see more from Paris.

The family house in Hartford? Lorelai never meant that house. She was thinking about the older one with the nuns in SH and I think Emily and her did agree on how it will be bought, through the will Richard meant for Luke.

Emily had the best closure since it was crazy how she sold the house. Surprised lorelai didnt use the house to expand her business.

Pissed off a smidge
1st How can they go and break my heart like that, I shipped Logan and Rory since they met!
2nd No wedding, no happy ever after just 'mom I'm pregnant' roll end credits. Winter, Summer and Spring were great but I'm feeling a little let down by Fall possibly because I was left heartbroken with the Logan and Rory. I just wanted him to come back and tell Rory he loved her and hasn't stopped.
Sorry I got committed to they relationship in the series and I'm a terrible romantic with bad anger issues when shows don't go how I like ahahaha
I did love how Emily found peace and happiness in the end, poor woman had a terrible time and deserved happiness
