I'm torn on my feelings about the entire revival. Like the original series, it definitely mad me laugh and cry a lot (especially Lorelei's phone call with Emily about her 13th birthday). But overall I'm not sure if I'm happy with the end product or disappointed. I'm glad we as fans got closure for our favorite supporting characters. However, as someone who will always be Team Dean (please don't hit me!), I'm heartbroken that he and Rory didn't end up together. I was never a fan of Jess but I will say this, his character definitely grew up. And who knows, maybe he will be a sort of 'Luke' to Rory's 'Lorelei'.
On a side note, I'm happy with the way they handled Ricard's death and Emily's mourning. And I'm glad that she got a happy ending as well.

Jess is definitely a Luke.
Dean was always going to remarry and have a family, that wasn't Rory.
Something that annoyed me was that there was loads of speculation that Rory was now a teacher (because of the Chiltern scene) but that wasn't the case at all. I don't like that she wasn't settled and knew what she wanted from life - which was what we were led to believe from the last few series.

I'm a horrible fan! I can't believe I spelled Lorelai wrong twice!
