There are 5 pregnancies? in the original series. Abortion is only mentioned ONCE by Christopher's dad when Lorelei gets pregnant. Sookie wanted Jackson to get a vasectomy and he didn't.. Lorelei mentions birth control to Rory after Lorelei is concerned about the (apparently) single time she didn't use it since Rory was born with Luke after the magazine party.. Rory says she's using protection at that point. Lane seems more modern than her mom even though she decided to wait until marriage to have sex so I can't imagine she's against condoms and birth control pills..
So, six pregnancies combined in the miniseries and original.. How many of these were on purpose? Two, with Sookie and Jackson? Yeesh

I would have taken Rory pregnant with Jesse's child, but knowing that she was the other women for Logan I just can't even accept this ending.

I think Amy had the finale words planned at the beginning & Lorelei wasn't set with Luke yet so Amy planning a whole romantic thing for Lorelei at the start is impressive

Lorelei would be 50, no way she could be. Even for a super late in life pregnancy it's too late.

In a recent interview Alexis said she was quite taken aback and shocked when she found out what the last four words were. That makes me think it's going to be something like 'I'm pregnant. Me too' or something referring to a pregnancy.
Which is pretty shocking.

Honestly, she's painted herself into a corner on this one: unless they reveal the secret of time travel, they're going to fall short.

Anyone wondering if she really had them or not or if she had to come up with something with this revival. I'm actually wondering if she did change them since this is set 9-10 years later than she intended.
