I could never get into this game. Sure, it's beautiful, but riding a horse from one side of the map to another killed it for me. I might give it another try in the future.
My first and last memory of online play was when I joined a server, and a bunch of guys came up to me. I tackled one of them to the ground and his buddy shot me in the head!
