I’m thinking of watching The Raid 1 and 2 this weekend, not sure if you know about them but they’re both written and directed by the guy that made season 1 of Gangs of London so good.
They had it playing on the tv in that scene where Shannon and Ed shoot those guys through the wall

I'll let you know if it's more of 2 or back to 1.

I probably won’t watch season 3 unless I read that it’s a massive improvement over season 2. Honestly, it felt like season 2 got completely full of itself without being nearly as good as season 1.

I kind of disliked Elliot towards the end but Sean was always supposed to have his comeuppance. He was supposed to be dead at the end of s1 but I guess the character is too popular.

Gotta’ admit, this season kind of sucks compared to the first.
I still have 2 episodes to go though.
You can tell Gareth Evans wasn’t involved in directing, he was the one responsible for all the awesome action sequences and grittiness of season 1 - in a few episodes he’s even credited as having directed just the action sequences alone.
Season 2’s action is just generic tv in comparison, even the huge Wallace attack (episode 3?) was dull compared to anything similar in season 1, like the attack on the trailer park etc..
