<p dir="auto">The best example is Bruce Lindahl case -<br />
where he succeeded in killing the witness because police never did anything to protect her. In fact this serial killer had friends in police - who told them who was the witness.<br />
The same story repeats in the UK in 2015 where the Grindr killer was never probed - because the police blamed the victims for drug abuse as drug abusers. Around 8 cops were charged for neglect later on.</p>
