I'm about half way through the movie and I'm not sure what the ****in' point of it all is.
Why is Chris Pratt's character helping this girl? There doesn't seem to be any reason for him to be helping her. He hasn't even protested their adventure or explained why he's doing it. Surely he could have found another way to escape the authorities that didn't involve taking all these other risks.
Why do people keep calling Millie's character a kid when she looks like a 30 year old woman? They should have laid off the ****ing makeup if they wanted us to believe she was a high school kid. Also isn't her brother supposed to be in college but why does he look so much younger than her? The actor is also 5 years younger than her IRL. I had to google this to find out he was some kind of child genius because the writers didn't make any effort to develop the characters AT FUCKING ALL.
The characters in general are as thin as rice paper. Shallower than a droplet of urine.
They've also done nothing to explore the philosophical, biological and ethical implications of multi-casting and inhabiting robot bodies other than the couple of scenes of the foster dad being neglectful.
Yea the robots look cool I guess. Not worth $300+ million though. They should have spent some of that money on hiring writers that aren't literal retards.

Alright I made it to the end and they finally explained the point of the movie.
Some people are less human than robots. Living in the real world is better than living in the 3D metaverse or whatever.
I guess.
They chose to just tell us this toward the end instead of showing us through good cinematic storytelling. 90% of the movie is just some ghey robot action movie.
I kind of zoned out for most of the last half of the movie so I might have missed something, but I doubt it.
And I still can't believe Millie Brown was born in 2004. She looks like a 40 year old single mom with a black baby daddy.
