Absolutely. I love that about the film. It certainly must have seemed equally surreal to someone
traumatized, under immense time constraints, exhausted, and suffering from severe head trauma.

I’ve noticed that all the best music appears to be from the 2nd part of the film
after he regains conscious
. The nature of the film changes and the music heightens the surreal visuals.

I agree. The follow-up scene was paired brilliantly with its backing track, as well. "1600 Men" is the best orchestral track in the film, next to "Engländer" and "Night Window."

The lead up to that scene where you can barely hear the voice is incredible too but it doesn’t translate well as an audio track.

I'm so glad they finally released this track. This scene was poignant. Seeing all those kids, with youthful faces and distant expressions, resting a moment before being launched over the front lines to their deaths was incredibly saddening.

My maternal grandmother’s first husband died in WW1. He didn’t want to fight for religious reasons but had to go anyway. My grandmother received a letter saying she had to pay for his shroud which made the family believe that he was executed. She refused to pay.

When I saw it in the theater this Man's voice brought tears to my eyes. Great Scene. And a Beautiful Film.
It deserves an Oscar for best picture.
If Parasite wins best picture though, it wont be robbery. Cause Parasite was qually good.
