For the Black Panther movie he was supposed to star in? With his permission of course, and I do not mean when he is in the final stages of dying.
I do not know the manor of his death, like if it was a case of he was up and walking around and fighting the cancer and then all of a sudden took a really bad turn, or if he knew his days were numbered.
But if he gave permission to be filmed while ill, and they used the footage in Black Panther 2 as a better way to explain his passing, give him a chance to say goodbye to his on screen family and the audience by proxy, would that have been seen as a despicable act by Marvel?

Why was his death such a big deal? Was he known before or in anything besides Black Panther? Was it just because it happened during the climax of the BLM movement so we all had to pretend to be sad?
