So I saw a movie several years back from Netflix in the independent film category. The film was about a high school boy who wakes up to find his mother gone. He gets worried and tells his friend about it. They then decide to runaway from their small town and go search for her. I believe the state they're in is Florida. They travel through trains, meet several people at a bonfire, dine and dash from a burger restaurant and they finally find the main character's mother in a trailer home. It was on Netflix I believe in 2012 or 2013 or 2014 but most likely 2013. I tried to search for this movie in many ways using Google but no results! It was such a good movie and I'm dying to find it! It's no longer on Netflix. Please help. Thanks!

Could it be
Trans (1998)
? I don't remember it too well but I think there are elements that match.
