I really hope someone here can help me as not knowing the title is killing me. There was this movie I remember seeing on tv as a kid and it was clearly made in the 50s or early 60s. The plot revolved around an attractive high school teacher who becomes the obsession of a popular football playing student. All the teen girls swoon over him but he only wants this teacher. Early on he tries to rape her after school one night. The authorities become involved and the student's dad comes to his defense. It turns out that the dad is also obsessed with the teacher and near the end of the movie he sneaks into her house under the pretense of discussing his son. Instead he tries to rape her too but in the ensuing struggle the teacher kills him in self defense. One last clue I have is a line repeated by both the father and son and they both say it to the teacher before they attack her and they mention her perfume and how exciting it is. I know it sounds racy for the decade it was made in but I distinctly remember it was from that era of juvenile delinquent movies. It was also in color if that helps. I think I remember seeing it on AMC back when they actually showed classics. I hope someone can help me. Thanks!

WillEd is right it is
The Unguarded Moment
(1956), with Esther Williams, George Nader as the cop on the case who becomes Esther's boyfriend, John Derek as the teen and Edward Andrews as his creepy father. The movie is also out on DVD from Universal. Interestingly, the film is based on a story by Rosalind Russell!
One correction to your memory: the teacher does not kill the father. This is what happens, if you care to look:
After being rebuffed by her he attacks her (it's unclear whether to rape her or kill her) but their struggle is interrupted when the cop comes back to her house and catches the father in the act. He runs away and the cop chases him. The father (who we've learned has a bad heart) reaches home but is locked out. He climbs up the trellis to his son's room frantically knocking to be let in (the kid's not home yet), then suffers a heart attack from the stress and falls to the ground, dead.
