What are things that you think are important to think about? What sorts of websites do you think are best? What things keep people coming back?

comedy and sex
keeps people coming back
turn offs=
pop ups (you hear that IMDB?)
sites that don't let you leave (back button enabled)
clutter
to slow to load due to too many graphics
scroll bars ( horizontal scroll bars absolute no- no
scroll down bars not as bad)
vagueness about where or who the company is
dead links
old data, not updated
too many ads
actually, a lot of smaller ads like AVSForums allow are ok
