I am always scared of red polish. It is the hardest to get right! Beautiful color though.

I used to have longer nails with a French manicure as well. They were very pretty. That's for sure. It's just so hard to do anything with them!

Thanks! Yeah I always keep my nails short as it feels icky when they get past my fingertips. I actually used to really like longer nails with a French manicure but now I always keep them short and painted red.

. I don't grow my nails out too long either because I work with my hands. Long(er) nails get in the way and can affect what I'm doing, even causing damage. I used to think red polish could only be worn on long(er) nails, but I've been enjoying it on my shorter nails.
OPI has so many different shades of red! I like red shades with a blue undertone.

Every girl has to have a bottle of red nail polish. I have the brand Lilith is showing in the image but it's clear polish. The red nail polish I have is different brand though.
I hardly wear nail polish anymore though.

Thanks! Vaseline is actually a good tip. I do them every week so even if they are kind of messy I don’t worry too much as they will have a seven day expiry anyway

Looks good! Better than what I can do. Put a dab of vaseline around the edges, it makes it easier to wipe off but you did a good job regardless.

That’s the kind of shade I always go for and I don’t feel myself if I have a different colour (my manicure is not as good though!)

I just removed Bubble Bath, which is a neutral pink, and decided to go with something vampirish. It's amazing how many shades of red there are!
