You can refrigerate cooked chicken to eat the following day. It's risky to leave uncooked chicken in the refrigerator because uncooked chicken gots to be at 40 degrees farenheit or below in order to stop bacteria from growing on it.
So if you purchased that cooked chicken from the hot deli, eat it all or throw away the remaining because chicken cooked at those places tastes nasty reheated. Lol

Overcautious. What temp is your fridge at? I've had reheated chicken many times and never had a problem. From now on you should put food in the freezer because its good for about a year.
Ummmm… I've heated leftover fired chicken the next day at 350 degrees for 10 minutes all my life.
Day 3 I eat the thigh and wing cold though.

This is the first time I've heard this too, so I don't think it's that common for people to get sick from reheating poultry. I'm not saying there's no risk, but if it's that common for people to get sick after reheating poultry, I think we would've heard about it before - and there would be a lot of people getting sick every year after eating Thanksgiving leftovers.
If you do a search, it says on several websites that it's safe to reheat chicken, as long as it was stored correctly (for instance, as long as it wasn't left out a long time before being put in the fridge, and the fridge is at the correct temp) and it's reheated thoroughly.

I didn't want you to die from food poisoning, but if you've done it before… carry on.
Chicken is a rich source of protein, however, reheating causes a change in composition of protein. You shouldn't reheat it because: This protein-rich food when reheated can give you digestive troubles. That's because the protein-rich foods get denatured or broken down when cooked.
