The geese are probably just heading for a warmer climate! We lost power twice yesterday. Luckily, last year I bought a little sterno cooker and we had cream of tomato soup and grilled cheese.

I did manage to get an hour between rain showers and was able to clean my little charcoal grill. I had been meaning to do it but something always was more pressing. I didn't get to clean it as well as i'd like to put away for the winter but i got it about 75% done. The rest will have to wait for spring unless we get an indian summer. I remember one year it was in the 70s for one day in january.

Early yesterday morning, about 3am, the temperature was around 34 degrees. And today's high was 76 degrees!! Presently, I'm sitting here watching the Jets get trounced by the Dolphins

it was so cold on Friday several towns cancelled school so the special little snowflakes wouldn't have to go outside and wait for a bus (i'm sure it was more to appease their helicopter parents)
when i was a kid they never cancelled school because of cold temps, only blizzards or ice storms
but of course on both thursday night and on friday morning i saw a couple of dumbass guys in just a sweatshirt and shorts, no hat, no gloves, i wanted to smack them both
