I was at home, My mom woke me up so I can get ready to go to School (I was in High School at that time) but when she woke me up, she said to me
"the World Trade Center was bombed"
(this was just after the first plane hit and about 10 minutes before the 2nd plane hit, remember that at that point, a lot of people still didn't know anything) and the first thing that I thought of was the bombing that happened there back in the early 90's and so I replied back to her
"again ?"
and so I then got up, turned on my TV, and then over the course of the next hour (as I got ready to go to School), I watched it all happen.

Everytime I think about that terrorist attack on 911, I get very angry at the perpetrators. All those lives lost. The heroes of various rescue teams and the cleanup teams fell ill with respiratory diseases.

I was miles away from the towers, watching with disbelief on my tiny TV.

Adults are silent. All children, including me, are clueless. Eventually, I realized something was wrong. No grown-up was happy, their faces holding back tears. They were trying to stay strong for all of us. I knew not to ask why.
Finding out at home, being told by mom, I was shocked, then angry. Angry!

Working a Block and a half away. Seeing both planes hit both towers from a Sidewalk view. It was like nothing I had ever seen and hope to never see again.

I remember I spent the whole day glued to my TV, in New Zealand, hardly being able to believe what I was seeing. My memory of it is as clear today as if it happened only yesterday.
