, just for your interest bc i know you are into good muzik and all that jazz, i have now listened to nearly 100 hip hop albums released this year, so far, and this one remains to be my favourite one of them all:
Backxwash - Only Dust Remains
in case you havent come across it yet, the track in the OP is on that album. it's one of my favs along with this one here, "History of Violence", a powerful gutwrenching devastating and yet ultimately empowering beast of a track…
so, this is what this artist's musik sounds like. this album is not just Backxwash's masterpiece, it's a goddamn ****ing miracle, a dark miracle that will irredeemably **** you up without mercy, but you will come back from this a changed person. that's guaranteed and why i ideelly would you listen to it immediately. right ****ing now, but i know you've got a life and a lot on your plate right now, so i will be patient and leave you to it. approach it at your own pace and listen to it whenever you feel ready and if it is gonna be in a year from now then so be it, but DO listen to it. Lol that's all i'm asking.
