Yeah, pet store animals often have health issues like heart murmurs which are common in small dog breeds. They've banned the selling of dogs and cats in pet stores here. Too many of them came from puppy mills.

She was $600 which is relatively cheap for a purebred. I looked at the local shelter a few times, but they mostly have large breeds with behavioral problems.

She's a Chihuahua but a very friendly and non-barking one. She loves everyone.
