It's wheat. Sometimes I give her oats and sometimes a few sunflower seeds. All feathered people seem to love wheat though and I get a big sack of it for them.

What do you feed her?…looks like corn but I cannot clearly see it.
You probably already know that peeled sunflower seeds are
power food
for almost all birdies.
Fun fact:
In the drugstore around the corner sunflower seeds for humans are cheaper than those for birdies.

I'd sit quietly until she calmed down and then put her out. They don't poop as much as people think they do.

Thats so nice that you do that. Somehow once a grackle got in without me noticing and I woke up to a lot of poop on the floor below my skylight. I quickly opened a window and it flew out unharmed.
