That was way cool

Nope. I'm so pissed that I never kept the pictures. Actually, I'm sure they're on the hard drive of my old computer. This was almost 20 years ago, so needless to say, who knows where they all ended up.
It was a full circle of rainbow colours meshed together, and not just a limbic ring type of circle. It was an actual ball, where everything was filled. It didn't last very long.
The closest I can find is if you could sort of mash up these pics, it will give you a good idea of what I saw:

Something like this? I image searched “360 degree rainbow”…

I know. I was trying to find an image of it. It was rainbow sphere in the sky. I took about six pictures, and I sent them to a few people because it was so astonishing. The cars were parked for quite a while with everyone out there taking pictures of the sky.
Looked like a globe of a rainbow. Not a ring, either, but a full globe.

Have you ever seen a rainbow ball? I saw one when I was in Pennsylvania. So many cars pulled over on the side of the road to take photos. It was stunning. I had never seen anything like it before or since.
