I think so.

I don't doubt that that will happen, but I wonder what varieties of grass, foliage, and other plants/trees/herbs would ultimately flourish if humans disappeared? You have to consider that much of our flora and fauna on the earth have been genetically altered by human intervention.

The weakest animals will die through not having human intervention. The strongest will eat the weakest and survive. Grass and foliage will take over the cities. Concrete and metal will eventually rot. The earth will heal itself of our presence. It will be paradise.
