True, but they did land 6 times on the moon (allegedly) and I don't know what else they could get from there that would be useful to us. If they found anything, I'm sure they would have gone back.

You aren’t wrong but we will never know if a planet is suitable until we try. Earth can’t survive forever. At some point if humanity wants to survive, we have to move elsewhere. Or we can all just kill ourselves like matt_shade wants.

How realistic is being able to find a planet that is suitable for humans, and get people there in a reasonable amount of time?
I'm flabbergasted so many people are unwilling to do things to reduce, pollution, waste and climate change, which would be much easier to do.
