The word "Christian" is only used three times in the Bible - Acts 11:26, Acts 26:28, and 1 Peter 4:16 - and none of those verses say that only people whose behavior is identical to Jesus can be called Christians. In fact, Acts 11:26 defines a Christian as someone who believes in and follows Jesus Christ. Which is exactly what every dictionary defines it as as well.

According to the Bible to be a Christian one must be a true follower of Christ. Though it is true that we all occasionally stumble a true follower of any cause would exhibit a pattern of behavior.
