I had friend from back then, similar times, they are no more (In on way or another).

Well you have your own opinions on it and I have mine. I have always felt like a real heel…for doing what I did. They looked after me for that fortnight and taught me how to survive on these streets and then when I got bored of that life and decided that I would go back with my parents (after a very tearful heart to heart), I abandoned them with no word.
Christ they could all be DEAD now for all I am aware!

Coventry is an interesting place. It has connections with all sorts of off phenomena across the globe BtM
I think not returning, not seeing that tight-knit family you made with vagabonds there shows that you have the faith in yourself needed from the experience.
To go back and see people, whose memories you cherish, turn into something else - something ghastly and pollutive of those sweet halcyon days - is something you already know in your heart of hearts and you don't want to do them the dirty of facing them again.

Yes I was. I was silent and had no choice but to go to Coventry. In a fashion you might might say that I was SENT to Coventry ha ha ha but no seriously it was a strange time living on the streets and being taught from the hobo veterans how best to survive. What to say and what to do. They took me under their wing, showed me the ropes and we became a sort of small family in such a short space of time.
Then now these days, I don’t even visit. Never visited.
What does that make me?

And not quite…the city was Coventry and it was a full fortnight before they managed to track me down there.

I'm going to say you went to Bristol BtM and you were there for 2 days before they tracked you down.

It’s a classic isn’t it. It reminds me of when I ran away from home in 1997 and my mother and father tracked me down to a city and convinced me to come home…but not before confronting my demons.
