What would Black Panther's play style be like? I imagine that he'd be a charge character. If Wolverine or Necali don't show up, I think Black Panther would draw from those characters' attacks just fine.
Necali already has a charged version of Berserker Barrage that transfers well to Black Panther.
Alternatively, I could also see a leaping set-up attack like "Claw" (Vega/Balrog) that could default to kick, with punch, grab, and dive kick inputs. Also, a flash-kick would work well here.
I'll admit, I don't know the character well enough to weigh in on projectiles. I think it'd be fine if Black Panther didn't have any.
Would a charge character be good for a new "hyper" fighting game? I'm not too sure, but I think dialing back to pairs would make it a little safer from vortex fighters and assists.

So you didn't understand I was being sarcastic when I said Superman is a Goku rip-off?
Yes, Goku is that powerful and even more. But it's not boring at all.
Why? Because there are many characters with similar power and many others that are massively more powerful than Goku.

The first Dragon Ball manga was published in 1984.
Superman first appearance was first published in 1938.
I've never watched or read any Dragon Ball stuff, but if Goku is that powerful, it sounds pretty boring. Boring invincible heroes are boring.

Son Goku destroys and kills any version of Superman in just 2 seconds at most.
It doesn't matter if it's Pre-Crisis, Post-Crisis, or Superman Prime, every one of them gets smashed by Goku with no effort at all.

Alex Summers is from Hawaii. He is the X-men Havok, who led the second (more popular) team of X-Factor. Currently he is an Avenger, so perhaps that leaves some wiggle room for him to appear in MvC-I.
I think a few directional beam attacks would make the character a real threat.
A close-range area of effect attack would help the keepaway game.
The trade off would have to be health or speed.
Havok has at least three good costumes for this appearance. His classic black costume with the wires over his face like the electron orbits of an atom would be a good unlock. His 90s X-factor would be a good 2P costume. And the default would probably be his current iteration, which is not the most exciting but relevant.
