The newest game is on sale on PS Store's January Sale right now. About £20. I'm tempted.
'Doom' is also on the sale for a similar price. Not played that either yet.
He is not coming back. He has forgotten me.

Thanks I think I'll get this. Big fan of Silent Assassin, Contracts and Blood Money. Absolution was okay in small doses.

It's an amazing social stealth game. Lots of opportunities that form storylines in each map, creating unique assassinations, lots of challenges that make you earn XP and unlock items, starting positions, smuggled items locations, etc and improve your 'mastery' level of each map. Plus user made contracts, escalation targets, elusive targets every 2 weeks. All this give immense replayability to Hitman
The most unique mechanic imo is using disguises to infiltrate locations without hiding, you can take out any guy with a position and disguise immediately
The maps are huge with lots of paths to take and has a complete set of stealth mechanics and tools. Also the graphics are absolutely stunning and there's a lot of attention to detail in every map
Beware that this is not like Dishonored, if you fail at stealth and get spotted/cornered, the combat is really punishing (like you die with a couple of bullets) and the targets go into a lockdown location where it's harder to reach them (and possibly mess up opportunities). So this works purely as stealth game and NOT at all as an action game

Hitman is amazing. The levels are huge, the ways you can approach a target are nearly endless and the user created contracts and such give the game endless replayability!
