But I'm still excited. A real fan would be excited to see this story finally come to the screen. A real fan would have been dying to see anything for the past several years after constant rumors fell thru. A real fan wouldn't be so put off by a leaked trailer and whining about SJWs for some reason. That's what a real fan would do.

I have chief. All 7. I'm halfway through Winds thru the keyhole. I've read several of the marvel comics interpretations. I've also read just about every other King book that ties to the whole Multiverse concept.

It doesn't have to be like the books as Rolands story repeats over and over again. This one is basically a sequel to the books and not an adaptation. This story can and will be different because it's following Roland on a different path. And if his life can drastically change from one iteration to the next, then why can't his race?

I normally don't care if they change a characters race, only in this particular story, the race of Roland is kinda a huge deal when he meets Detta. Is she going to scream and curse at him and call him a honkie or cracker when he is a black man? This is going to be nothing like the books because of this.

Apparently it's their fault cause Roland is Black. Solaris is salty when it comes to race bending white characters into black characters, but that probably has something to do with how racist he is.
