I can only vaguely remember this.
In the film a man and a woman have started dating.
She goes to see him when he's working in a garage.
He's working under a car (so his legs are sticking out from under the car) and she jokingly rubs her foot up and down the inside of his thigh.
I thought that the actors could have been Robert De Niro and Meryl Streep but it isn't the film Falling in Love.
Sorry for the lack of info.
Does anyone recognise this?

I'm pretty sure they were both white as I thought it may have starred either De Niro or Streep.
I think it was the 80's.
I asked on chatgpt about De Niro playing a mechanic and it suggested Stanley & Iris.
I spooled through that but didn't see anything that looked familiar.

I don't know…I've been thinking about what you said. I know I've seen it, but I need more details. What did the guy look like? What did the woman look like? They are both white? During what decade was the film made in? So far, I've been thinking The Loveless from 1981, but that's probably not it.
