<p dir="auto">Haven’t seen this in years, probably around when it came out. I liked it then and saw things in it that I didn’t pay attention to first time around. Atmospheric, slow build, moody and creep factor. 8/10<br />

<p dir="auto">That’s really interesting. I know this was based on an incident that happened. I liked Gere in this. Loved his vulnerability. And I love Linny in just about anything. Great cast, with the possible exception of Messing whom I see as Grace. Can’t get away from that.<br />

<p dir="auto">Haven't seen it in years either, but as I recall Richard Gere's character in the movie isn't quite as nuts as John Keel, the author of the book, was in real life<br />
The movie was mostly filmed in Pennsylvania, but if you ever have the chance to visit Point Pleasant, the Mothman Museum there does have a sizable collection of memorabilia related to the movie (as well as the video game<br />
Fallout 76<br />
). I'll have to see if I can find any of the pictures from my visit later.<br />
